Da Wind spirit reached fort’ an grabbed da warrior by ‘is head and flung ‘im far inta tha desert. The warrior landed break’en ‘is bodeh in many places, an he could not move.

Da winds of tha desert be harsh, seek’ing ta bury ‘im. Tho off in tha distance der be a heavy breath’en. The sound of paws stalk’n the sand.

A large spotted dog walked before him. Ets coat red as the sett’en sun. dark matted hair arched across ‘is back. The dog looked hungr’eh.

Fo seven years tha warrior fought brav’eh fo tha tribe. Protect’en the secrets of tha desert, and look’en after the tribe with pride.

The time came fo ‘im ta pick a bride. He sought afta’ the most beautiful female the tribe ever seen

the Chieftain’s daught’ah.

Pride fill’ed him. Glory, beauty, and hope. The female loved him so, and he’d protect ‘er with ‘is life.

The night befo’ da wedd’en the female was sent out wit a group o females ta get wat’ah.

Deh came across an old begg’ah en tattered robes. Little be they kno’ it be tha spotted dog in disguise.

The dog spoke “sissta… ah be need’en healing. Mah wife be very sick, I fear she be die’n.” the bride ta be told the other females to run to the tribe to get help.
