(App) Zu'Lala

Bounty Hunter Zu'lala of the Shatterspear Tribe (formerly)

RP status (how often you RP: sometimes, casual, quite often, all the time):

I am usually in character unless I'm dealing with a pug group, or trying to PvP. Kinda hard to rp while doing that these days. So, I usually try to be IC as often as possible. :^)

Character Description (what does your character look like? are they motherly, distance, skittish, blunt? do they have tattoos, piercings, missing body parts?):

She is a little short for being a troll, and is very sensative to that face. She also has bright green skin and fur, making her a jungle troll. Her thick golden-orange mane is pulled back into a mess of braids. The ends are wrapped in dark leather straps with coins, gems, feathers, bones and other fetishes tied to each braid, which there are too many of to count. Her body is free of any peircings and her figure is atheletic. Her curves are barely there, her chest usually taped down, and her hips not yet developed into the common flaring curve of most troll women.

Despite the pale streaking her hair, and the dark bags of an insomniac that usually is only seen on a troll of maybe 25-30, Zu'lala is really only about 20. She obviously has been through a lot of stuff, and though it isn't too obvious, she has many scars, most of them not on her face though. One easily noticed thing, if she is wearing casual clothes and not her consealing leathers, you can note a large, blocky tribl tattoo in gold ink. The tattoo encompasses most of her form, save her face, hands and feet. Her nose a little smaller than usual, as are her ears, not being as long, and curling over a ltitle more. One feature that always stands out about her are her bright, vivid emerald green eyes with a ring of golden-yellow aroudn the iris.

Usually, Zu'lala can be seen in dark, consealing leathers. When she is on the job she usually hides her face with a wolven mask, her braids flowing out behind her. However, when she is being more casual, she can usually be seen with a white mask and some comfortable leather pants and a simply shirt with a few belts and buckles holding it over her form.

Character History/story (where did your character come from? who are their parents? talk about their tribe and why they left):

Zu'lala tries to keep her past a mystery. She always says that if you can know someones past, you can know their weaknesses. But for the sake of proving I am no mary sue nor a bad roleplayer, I shall write it down for OoC reasons. :3

Zu'lala was born to a pair of shatterspear parents. Her mother was called Zufafu and her father was Lorshon. Her mother was a priest for the tribe, acting as a spiritual guide and a healer, while her father was a hunter and often helped lead hunts for the tribe down in Darkshore, and sometimes Felwood. Zu'lala was born to them about a year after they became mates. Zu'Lala was named after her grandmother who had had the same bright green eyes as her. Zu'lala was spoiled by her parents, both being very supportive and thoughtful of what their daughter wanted.

Her childhood was simple and peaceful. She often went with her mother to the temples to pray to the Loa, and other times she went out on more simple hunts to watch her father as he worked. Upon reaching adolescenes, Zu'lala showed and interest in becoming a hunter. She trained with her father for near two years until she became eighteen. It was then she went on her first real hunt and was able to seek out an animal companion. Zu'lala took a wolf from Felwood as her companion. How it came to be that she was able to bond with him was not the usual capturing and taming. Zu'lala found the starving wolf on the verge of death. He tried to attack her and kill her, but fainted from exhaustion before he could even realy harm her.

Zu'lala, feeling bad for the beast, carried him back to her village and hid him on the edge of it, tucked away in a little cave. She slowly began to nurse him back to health. However, in his fear, he attacked her once more, and she received a large scar on her wrist from where he tried to bite her hand off, literally. It took weeks of trying to make him understand she meant him no harm. Once she got that across, he started to trust and bond with her. She named him Ghostwind and then brought him into the village. For a long time, things were great. He seemed to be fine with her and her tribe, he seemed protective of her, though sometimes was a bit too protective. Any other males who got too close were usually growled at by Ghostwind.

One day, nearly a year later, Zu'lala had left Ghost back at her hut as she went off with a boy she fancied. Ghost realized a while later she had left him alone and broke out, following her scent to a little romantic spot where she was kissing the boy. Ghost thought she was being attacked and attacked the boy, severly wounding him. Zu'lala was in big trouble for het pet attacking him. His family wanted the beast that attacked him to pay, and Zu'lala was told Ghostwind was going to be killed because he was obviously unable to be controlled. Zu'lala tried to free Ghost, but he refused to leave her side, and so she was forced to watch as one of the other hunters killed Ghost right before her eyes.

The image is still burned into her head, and since that day, she refused to ever find a new companion. She had loved Ghost, she had wanted him to be with her for all of time. She had invested so much time in nursing and training him that part of her spirit had been broken. She inevitably ran away, her fellow hunters thinking she had failed a very important test. She was ashamed of her inability to control her beast, and train him, so she left, and began to work as a bounty hunter. She used what she new as a hunter to begin hunting people with prices on their heads. Most of her employers were members of the Horde, as she had a dislike for night elves and humans, and was terrified of draenei. She ended up being asked to come join the horde after another sucessful mark was aquired and turned in. She decided to come and try the Horde out. She mostly stayed in the shadows and mostly just observed and did work as it came to her via mail. She has begun to show herself more, and is less suspicious and callous to others, however, she still rarely lets her head touch a pillow, and her "home" is unknown to pretty much everyone.

Character Goals (what does your character seek to do? do they wish to destroy a god? kill all elves? follow a loa? be one with the universe):

Her goal is to find a new place where she can feel as if she is home. Find a new group of people who know nothing about her past, and who look at her with smiles and do not shakes theirs heads at her for her failures in the past.

Character Dislikes/Phobias:

She is suspicious. She is consious of everyone around her and because of her distrust, she tends to close herself off and make others trust her less, whichmakes them seem more suspicious to her.

She is also terrified of Draenei and being alone in wide open places, such as a field or valley. She also hates standing with her back to a door and usually hugs walls when she has the chance. I guess you could say she is slightly afraid of everyone and everything.
