Ju'Lani the Seeker

Name (your characters full name as well as tribe they hail from): Ju'Lani of the Darkspear Tribe

RP status (how often you RP: sometimes, casual, quite often, all the time): Quite Often to All The Time!!! I try to be IC 99% of the time and definitely keep all public channels as being IC.

Character Description (what does your character look like? are they motherly, distance, skittish, blunt? do they have tattoos, piercings, missing body parts?): Ju'Lani is a typical Jungle Troll; seven feet tall with a rangy, broad-shouldered and long-limbed build. He is predominantly teal blue in color which is a startling contrast to his brilliant red eyes. Currently, his cobalt blue hair is styled in a multitude of small, tight braids. Carved bone beads adorn some of the plaits while the rest are tied off with tightly wound string in a rainbow of colors. A young Troll, he has no scars or tattoos to distinguish himself. His long ears look almost naked with only a paltry three studs in the right and a hoop dangling from his left ear lobe. Even his tusks are without the carvings and jewelry many Trolls collect during their lifetime.

Character History/story (where did your character come from? who are their parents? talk about their tribe and why they left): Ju'Lani is only 17 years old but has answered the call of the Warchief of the Horde to aid both his Tribe and the Horde. In some ways he can be very idealistic and naive. In other ways he has a very wise if somewhat antiquated view of the world. He doesn't remember much about his mother. Shortly after he was weaned, she simply disappeared. He was raised by two other females in his father's hut. They were mousey females who were virtual slaves to his father, Mbawa and older brothers Ja'Bari and Razi. He was born in Stranglethorn but raised in the Echo Isles. An impressionable teen when the Orcs arrived to save the Darkspears from the Sea Witch, Ju'Lani has sought to learn better ways than those strictly belonging to his ancestors. He finds value in the constant warnings to eschew the Voodu practices of the past which have brought only ruin to those Trolls still living in Stranglethorn and Zul'Aman. In this vein, he seeks to learn the ways of the Spirits and Elements as taught by the Tauren and lately by Thrall.

Character Goals (what does your character seek to do? do they wish to destroy a god? kill all elves? follow a loa? be one with the universe): Ju'Lani wants to learn more of the Spirits and hopefully become a powerful Shaman to serve his Tribe and the Horde. The Darkspears have been downtrodden for too long and he has the enthusiasm of patriotism to buoy his desires. While the Loa are to be respected and feared, he wants to learn the ways taught by the Tauren and Thrall of embracing a communion with the Spirits instead of bribery or demands for power paid for in blood.

Character Dislikes/Phobias: At this time Ju'Lani has no outstanding dislikes or phobias. He is a bit skeptical of any female being independent as he was raised in a more traditional household. But he's trying hard to accept the Orcish and Tauren ways of equality among the sexes.
