Jeriako (Application)

Jeriako (Ja-rye-a-ko) of the Darkspear Tribe

Description: Dark Blue skin, Dagger like tusk the are painted grey, he wears a sea shell necklace. He carries an old painted Voodoo in the likeness of a troll warrior. He carries a shield and mace with him into combat. Jeriako's hair is a darker blue than his hair and is braided into dreadlocks.

Character History: Jeriako was born into the Darkspear tribe, the second of five children (only three of which survived into adulthood). His Father Amuda was a renowned hunter among the Darkspear and a loyal follower of Sen'jin. Amuda was a proud troll, who would tell his children stories of the mighty Troll Zandalarian Empire, and its dominance over the world before the coming of the elves and humans. Jeriako loved listening to his fathers tales and the young troll aspired to one day play a part in ascending his own tribe. Amuda might have seen the warrior Jeriako would become....had not he'd been caught mating with another female by Jeriako's mother, Ganzi. In a gruesome tale that to this day makes him shudder at the thought, Jeriako recalls his mother slaying his father and cooking him for supper.

As time past the Darkspears found themselves chased off their Island and joining with another race, the orcs. It was on the Echo Islands, Jeriako lived with his mother and younger siblings in a small hut at the edge of the tribe. Jeriako lived off his mother and bullied his younger siblings into hunting for him. This leisure less life soon came to a halt when he came of age to fend for himself. His mother Ganzi chased him out of the hut with a spear, and Jeriako ran further into the jungles. Life was hard for Jeriako, he was no hunter like his father or warrior like his mother. While, his tribesmen enjoyed the meat they, hunted from the beast of the jungles he was forced to eat the fruit that grew from the tree's. Jeriako lived for months away from the tribe, afraid that his mother would chase him out again (seeing him as a slacker, with no real worth). However, his luck changed when he accidently recovered a mysterious Voodoo totem from the sea while swimming. The totem was carved in the shape of a troll and had appeared to be many years old. Unbeknown to Jeriako the totem possessed the spirit of an ancient Troll warlord Manza'ko, his Zandalar ancestor. The totem filled Jeriako's dreams with sights of a possible future, with him commanding the spirits, enjoying the comforts of victory, and spoils of conquest. The totem spoke to Jeriako, telling him that if he wished this future, he would have to walk the path of the shaman. And so...the young Troll set off with the totem guiding to find his destiny.


Goals: Jeriako has only one main goal: To elevate the status of the Troll race and build a new empire.

Likes: While most trolls prefer meat of great beast (and other races), Jeriako prefers fruit as he lived off eating fruit during his exile. He has a great respect for Elder Trolls, often more experienced shaman. He also loves to swim and sees the oceans as his own playground. He also has a liking of strong female trolls, and has a great respect for the female who can instill fear in a male.

Dislikes: Jeriako hates murlocs, having lost two of his four siblings at a young age to murloc raids. He enjoys catching and killing the beast believing that their grind ed bones pleases the spirits of his fallen kin. He also has a deep mistrust for other tribes like the Amani and even other Gurubashi tribes that, are non Darkspear. He believes them to be misguided by old Gods, and unwilling to grasp a more glorius feature. The elves Kaldorei or Sindorei, the elves have alway's been a bane to all trollkind, which leads him to rarely travel to Quel Thalas.

Characteristics: Friendly, Lazy, Skilled Shaman, is often mistaken for talking to himself by other races when conversing with the Manza totem.
